Proud Dog Mom to Pippa

The volunteers of No Pawz Left Behind are amazing. They are extremely dedicated to the well-being of each and every dog that comes through the doors of the Ashland County Shelter.

No Pawz Left Behind of Ashland, Ohio was established in the fall of 2010 by two friends looking to volunteer at the shelter. They saw the need for folks to help out with walking and socialization of the dogs. These two ladies enjoyed it so much they started to get their friends involved. In 2014 we officially became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Now with 5 board members and countless volunteers we are really making a difference in the lives of these dogs.

In addition to supporting all of the medical needs of the dogs at the shelter we also have a foster mom that is able to house more of the special needs dogs that come through our doors. These dogs can be at the foster home for a short period, long period or forever. Short term care includes surgery recovery. Long term could include a pregnancy.
